According to the UK charity Mind, one in four of us are currently struggling with a mental health problem. Mental health difficulties can seriously impact our everyday lives including work, relationships, and physical health. Therapy can help us understand and manage these difficulties.
NICE (UK National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence) recommends cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to help address many different problems including anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, phobias and trauma. Research has also shown that adapted CBT can be effective in helping with neurodiversity.
