The first session will be spent finding out about you, your background, life experiences and what has led you to seek therapy.
We will also discuss your current difficulties, and establish your goals for therapy. From this we can work out what mode of therapy would work best for you.
Going forward we will then arrange follow up sessions to work towards your goals
Sessions last for 50 minutes and are delivered either face to face or virtually.
There are no set number of sessions but CBT & EMDR are intended as a short term focussed therapies delivered between 6-20 sessions depending on presenting problems.
I take self-funding clients and am recognised by all major insurers, including BUPA, AXA, AVIVA, Cigna, Healix.
